Massage School > Attendance Notes
The
massage room is a quiet and warm environment, if you are learning as a class
member, you will be both the student and a model for other students.
In a public class, students each have a turn at being the model for the tutor to
demonstrate a particular technique.
Good hygiene is essential as is a non judgmental attitude, so
please shower and arrive a few minutes early so that you can change and be ready
for start time.
Massage requires partial nudity to expose the body part being massaged but care is
taken to preserve ones modesty.
What to wear in class
-
Please remove all jewellery including rings
-
If you are taking one to one tuition, a lightweight skirt and a sleeveless top are ideal.
-
Your clothing may get some oil contact, so don't wear your best clothes.
-
In public classes where you will be both student and model, the best item of
clothing is a sarong - which is a light cotton wrap around.
- A sarong can be worn as a garment and used as a sheet to cover the
parts of you not being massaged.
- Tied correctly it does not open or drag over the person you are massaging
- If you don't have one, they are supplied for class use.
