Trikonasana
Uthitta Trikonasana Or Triangle Pose
Stand with your spread a little over a meter wide and parallel with your hands
on your lower hips.
Turn your right foot 90 degrees to the right and your left heel about 45 degrees
outward to the left.
Drop your right hip down and lay your trunk to the right and place your right
hand on your leg or the floor as comfortable.
Check that your right knee is aligned with your right ankle.
If comfortable, extend your left arm toward the ceiling, broaden across the
shoulders and lengthen your spine.
Attempt to align your spine with the line between your feet.
Turn your face to gaze passively beyond your upper thumb.
Pivot on your heels, bringing your feet to face front. Repeat to the other side.
You are looking to primarily stretch the back of the forward leg and then
stretch the spine while keeping balance.
